Jen, it is with great joy that i read of your "relational interactions that are productive" and realize that you are experiencing one facet of God's Secret Kingdom: the paradox of true wealth. You are experiencing true wealth in Poverty. What a Joy!

The thought that hit me here is "so who is really rich?" I contrast Laodicea "I have need of nothing, but you do not know that you are poor and miserable....." with "I know your poverty, but you are rich" and I think of your story. Even if the current financial melt down were not proving much of our material wealth in the USA illusory, the question would be valid. We have "stuff." They have an awareness of God. So who is rich?

Jen,
your words and reflections are beautiful.
I am thankful for what you are learning.
Perhaps you can teach us how to implement this "blitzkrieg prayer" upon your return.
Miss you and praying for you!
