More pieces to the puzzle
In the month leading up to Christmas, my family has a tradition of piecing together a large puzzle. We usually kick it off around Thanksgiving when everyone is together and can all join in the frantic search for the corners and edges. There is always energy, competition, as well as, teamwork surrounding the art & science of tackling a puzzle. There is something special about actively witnessing the pieces of a puzzle come together to see the full picture.
So far, my blog entries have only been samplings or anecdotes of my experiences here. I’ve given you a few random pieces of the puzzle without even giving you the corner pieces or edges for a framework. I have taken for granted that my readers all know my story…why I quit my job and left my family and friends to serve the township of Mamelodi, South Africa. Through Google Analytics, I have discovered that in the past 19 days, there have been 421 visits to my blog from 23 states and 13 different countries!
